Our practical based level 2 hairdressing course teaches you current hair cutting and colouring skills in a salon environment.
Starting a new course, is an exciting life changing adventure. You don’t always know what to expect but rest assured, we know how to keep you motivated and our team will be with you every step of the way.
This level 2 hairdressing course is perfect if you have no experience but have a passion for hair. Our VTCT Diploma is a professional, modern-day qualification, equivalent to NVQ.
With only twelve students per class, our experienced tutor and assistant will ensure your individual questions are answered. Offering continuous support and guidance.
You will be cutting on live models by your 2nd lesson! We don’t muck about and we get you started straight away. This is a practical based course, where we train you to excel. You are welcome to use the school throughout your course, free of charge, to practice your cuts and colours. We want you to get the most out of your training time with us.
Our level 2 course will train you how to become a hairdresser on live models in a fast paced environment. We use Matrix hair colours throughout the course.

Assessment:
Pre-course homework completed on a computer, 25 consultation forms, project work, theory exams and ongoing assessments. You will need models throughout this course as working on block heads just doesn’t cut it!

Includes exclusive online student area, exam fees, course theory work, specific videos, uniform t-shirt and unlimited support inside and outside of the classroom.
You will need to purchase a textbook (£25) and a professional standard kit to use on the course and at home. Kits are available at a discounted price from one of our suppliers for approximately £300. You will also require student insurance (£25).
